Bubble Dive for children During school holidays, the instructors from Duikcursus.nl organize the so-called ‘Bubble Dive’ program for children aged 10 to 14. During this introductory dive, children learn the basics of diving and can swim through hoops underwater, play a game of underwater frisbee, and retrieve objects. They don’t just wear a mask and fins, but also carry a real diving tank. After receiving instructions, the children may enter the water under the constant supervision of the instructor. The pool is partially closed during the dive. To participate, children must be in good health and hold a valid swimming certificate. Parents are welcome to watch and take photos of this amazing underwater adventure. Registration can be done here.
Introductory dive for adults and children from 10 years Not yet sure if diving is for you, or just want to try it once? Join an introductory dive in the heated indoor pool at the campsite, or optionally in the recreation lake. During the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program, you’ll get a relaxed introduction to diving with compressed air, under close supervision.
Obtain your PADI certificate at the campsite Planning a diving holiday soon and don’t want to waste your precious vacation days studying and practicing at your destination? At Holiday Park De Achterste Hoef you can obtain your PADI Open Water certificate in just three days. Diving school Duikcursus.nl provides all instructions at the campsite. The confined water exercises take place in the heated indoor pool, while the open water dives are held within walking distance of toilets, changing rooms, and warm showers. The diving lake features various facilities including a training platform and several fun diving objects. The water is beautifully clear, offering perfect visibility.
